O Magazine Takes a Bite Out of Chowgirls Killer Party FoodEntertainment Weekly Announces New Hilda Story for Free Comic Book Day

When the temperature drops below freezing, there’s nothing that can warm your day right up quite like a plate of good food! Coming in February and March, O, the Oprah Magazine will be sharing recipes from Chowgirls Killer Party Food to keep your bowl and belly full. The February 2017 issue will include a recipe for “Big Woods Blue Canapes” while the March 2017 issue will feature “Pimento Cheese, Pepper Jelly, and Bacon Finger Sandwiches,” the perfect light treat to remind you that spring is just around the corner. First-time chef? Not to worry. You can watch authors Amy Brown and Heidi Andermack prepare recipes from Chowgirls Killer Party Food on today's episode of (CBS)/KCAL-TV’s News at Noon which airs in Los Angeles, on the November 22 episode of (FOX)WNYW-TV’s Good Day New York, or the October 13 episode of WGN-TV Chicago’s Lunchbreak. Bon appetite!

Forget Halloween, Christmas, or the Fourth of Julyany true graphic novel fan knows that the best holiday of the year is Free Comic Book Day, celebrated on the first Saturday in May. Though Free Comic Book Day 2017 is still five months out, the hype about the new titles to be released is already building. On December 19, Entertainment Weekly published the list of free comics for 2017, including a new Hilda story by Luke Pearson entitled Hilda’s BackHilda’s Back will help keep fans satiated until the next Hilda title is released, and before Hilda takes on the silver screen! The love for the Hilda series hasn’t stopped since the June 15 announcement in the New Yorker that everyone’s favorite blue-haired adventurer would be getting her own Netflix series in 2018.
