    Thanks for the picture of practice! I love using the LoF in my kindergarten class! It’s really well suited for young learners 😊

    Hey Jenny...this is a nifty little piece. My grandmother was Swedish. The ideas in the piece remind me a bit of maker-centered values and methods, do you agree? Hope all is going well.

    I completely agree though I wish we didn’t call them because there’s nothing soft about them... they’re essential. 😉

    A1: all named in this chat go beyond the curriculum and form part of a tool kit of that our students will carry with them and use in any situation. Regardless of ed reform and curriculum changes, I believe will remain essential!

    Ask students to think about the lesson and identify the kinds of thinking they used throughout. That not only builds vocabulary around thinking, but it gives kids confidence to name thinking strategies they used

    My advice to teachers: If you're in a conversation with another teacher who starts a sentence with the words "these kids can't..." get out of there. Run. Use smoke bombs if you have to. Do not let those words live in your head.

    : can you suggest any book lists for elementary-aged Ss that include books about women in science, math, & tech? Books about design & process, books about coding & programming, & even DIY books? How about magazines for kids?
