    Working with to generate ultra long reads on using DNA. Found lots of fused reads thanks to (). Interesting how extraction protocol affects read length, yield, and the total number of 100+kb reads.

    So big you can see it!

    I don’t know if you can see it, but there is baby’s breath DNA attached to that disk!!!! We started out using a small amount of frozen tissue (0.5-1g) as a trial.

    While is not a huge capacity sequencing center, we make good use of our instruments. But between our Sequels and our Promethion our weekly capacity now matches our short read capacity.
