That’s all for now. 50 books a year feels like a manageable cadence - will attempt to keep it up next year as well. Would love to hear your recommendations as well!

    10. Einstein’s dreams: another unusual and therefore interesting piece of fiction. Very short, but stuck with me for a while.

    8. Technological Revolutions and financial capital: Perez has informed a lot of my thinking on tech cycles. Also recommend her papers, which you can download on her website.

6.Stoner: this one is incredibly weird. Almost nothing happens, and yet it’s one of my favorite books I’ve ever read. Hard to explain; try for yourself.

    5. E-boys: I loved this one. Exciting story of the early web companies (boom + busts) and the VCs that backed them.

    4. The Goldfinch: I don’t read a lot of fiction but really enjoyed this one, mostly because of the deep character development.

    2. Evicted: an incredibly well-written and eye-opening account of the impact of evictions on low income communities. A much needed departure from my usual tech & crypto bubble.
