"A Light for Leisha"
A cold night at the Nambung National Park, Western Australia - but it can be rewarding. This was at around 2am in the morning when the galactic core was descending fast towards the western horizon. The monolithic rocks "Pinnacles" stand silently as the night is temporarily thrown back by the blinding flash of light from my good friend Mike who treks into the vast landscape of sand and stone.
Regarding the title of this image, it is an obscure reference to a science fiction book "A Talent for War".
I used an Skywatcher StarAdventurer sky tracking mount to take this 30 panel mosaic. A Canon EOS6d (modified) was used through a Canon 50mm f/1.2 lens stopped down to f/3.2. All camera and lens settings were kept the same for all panels, and all shots were taken one immediately after the other. The tracking mount was used for the sky and turned off for the foreground panels. Stitching in PTGui, colour balance, noise reduction, saturation and some brightness / contrast adjustment in Photoshop. Details below.

Purpose:
- Retrain dissociation of the pelvis from the ribcage
-Sustain control of the core/ stability muscles with the power muscles to control pelvic tilting
- Mobilise and building body awareness of spine segmental bending while challenging balance
- Retraining the holding an upright posture.
Modifications:
- Reduce range of motion as appropriate that is using blocks or decreasing stretch of legs
- Can practice starting with back on the wall. This will provide more feedback on segmental movement
