Oh hey, here’s another new Android phone, the Meizu m3s

Chinese phone manufacturer Meizu showed off its m3s yesterday, and wow it sounds a lot like these phones from Xiaomi. What a day for Chinese Android phones! Like Xiaomi’s Redmi 3S, the m3s has two variations, one with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and another with 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage. They even have the same price of $106 for the 2GB version and $136 for the 3GB. Are these the exact same phones? Are you intrigued? Do you want an answer? Great. Here are some specs:

• 13-megapixel rear camera, five-megapixel front-facing camera (same as the 3S)
• 5-inch 720p display (same as the 3S)
• 3,020 mAh battery (different from the 3S, which has a 4,100 mAh battery)
• Up to 128GB of expandable memory (yep, the same)
• MediaTek octa-core processor with Mali T860 GPU (totally different! The 3S uses the Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor.)

Do you prefer MediaTek’s octa-core processor over the Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor? I can’t tell you what you think, but I hope you live in China because that’s the only place you can buy the m3s or the 3S. Have fun ruminating on this deep personality question!!
