I watched videos from Android Builders Summit (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iA6kUPcZnkc&index=7&list=PLbzoR-pLrL6qsy2zR0s0uag75nxpoKxsy) where the entire sensor data was accessible as events in /dev/input/event* file using "getevent" command.

But this was not the case with my device which does not show the sensors events as such.I am using OnePlus One which has a Snapdragon 801 chipset, running kernel version 3.4(rooted device). While browsing further, I found this image (https://assets.ec.quoracdn.net/main-qimg-77a3617e0142bafc7844fe11ffd3e5ab-c?convert_to_webp=true) which shows that a separate aDSP is on board for Snapdragon 800. This DSP seems to be responsible for all sensors.

So how to extract data from this. Any thoughts will be appreciated.
