There shouldn't be any issues. Just make sure the keywords like `itemscope` are not translated.

Hey, we’ve just released a free Android library which provides you with an unified API to integrate e.g. Google+, Facebook, Twitter or Slack in your App. Could that be helpful for you? We’d love to get your thoughts on it. You can get it from GitHub: https://github.com/CloudRail/cloudrail-si-android-sdk

Hi there.

I was wondering if the following is actually possible with the Google+ Domains API (Java):

On https://plus.google.com, you can find your wall containing the most recent posts relevant for you as a Google+ user. (I only have posts from communities in our domain on my wall)

The ID's of the last (e.g. 50) posts viewable on my Google+ main wall is what I would like to retrieve using the API, is this even possible? Or do I have to iterate through every Google+ user in our domain, retrieve their activities and keep the 50 latest posts?

Hello,  Wondering if anyone could help me figure out how to add a  Google+ community I manage to the social media counter on my website?  What information do I need and where do I find the appropriate API?  Thanks! :)

Unfortunately the community api does not exist yet. The request to create one is here https://code.google.com/p/google-plus-platform/issues/detail?id=639

Hi,

Using the Google+ Domains API, I'm having problems with quota per user. In Google+ Domains API quotas documentation says:

"Within the daily quota, you can rate-limit per user by setting the maximum number of requests/second per user. Users can be identified by IP address or a custom unique string"

All my request are doing to the API within the same IP and this is a problem. The solution is create a custom unique string for each user, but in the documentation, this is not specified.

Could anybody tell me how can I create a custom unique string to identify an user?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

I am facing very peculiar problem with the count of plus ones mismatching between the ones I receive on the G+ platform and what it shows in the site page.

For example, this link clearly shows it has 4 Plus Ones - https://plus.google.com/u/0/b/102951033177639876376/+Gtricks/posts/a8psAhnt2AA

However, the page of the URL the post points shows only 2 Plus ones. You can see it at the +1 button count shown below the post content - http://www.gtricks.com/chrome/capture-complete-webpage-screenshots/

Hi everybody, I am developing a website for a hotel company. The client wants the home page of the new website to show the last post made on its Google+ Page. Unfortunately, I cannot rely on the "embedded post" feature, because the layout will have to be fully custom. Neither my company nor my client is a Google Partner or owns a Google Apps for Businsess account. Reading through the documentation, it seems that Pages API are accessible only by partners.
Two questions:
1. Do I actually need to use Pages API in order to access the company page stream?
2. Do we actually have to become Google Partners just to perform such a simple integration task?

Thank you in anticipation.

Hi, I am working on Google APIs for Google+, i have checked out all the Google+ Domains APIs, and i have a few questions:
1. From the APIs, can a user create communities, collections and which API will be used?.
2. from the www.googleapis.com/stream, a user can compose, but is it text, media only? Are polls, events, pages allowed?.
3.Also can one develop, using the APIs (which of the APIs), an app or a form of Google Hangouts?.

In general if it's not listed on https://developers.google.com/+/domains/api/ than it's not part of the Domains API.

1. Communities are not supported in the API
2. I only text/links/images are supported when posting
3. Hangouts chat doesn't have any public APIs. Hangouts video only provides APIs for for building apps within the video experience

Hello Hangouts developers.

It seems a Hangouts update is propagating, which removes the overlay feature and is breaking all applications which are using it, as Google Effects, Business Hangouts, Hangouts Toolbar...

This is happening to more and more Google users. I think we have an emergency situation here.

Does anybody know what's going on?

+Gus Class is Google aware of that? Is there a fix or a workaround?

+Allen Firstenberg I confirm the issue is fixed once I updated Chrome to M51. That's good news! We'll communicate that to our users.
Thank you very much for your updates!

Hi, we are working on SMM tool https://kuku.io and we are looking for possibility to publish on google+ pages.

The only way to officially publish on Google+ pages is to become Google+ Pages API Partner to get the access keys.

There is a way to do it by filling the https://developers.google.com/+/web/api/rest/pages-signup form. But, unfortunately, we have not got a response from there.
As well as a lot our known partners.
We would be grateful to receive a reply with reasons or/and suggestions on how KUKU.io could become Google+ Pages API Partner.

We know that some of our competitors are allowed to publish to the Google+ pages (https://buffer.com, https://hootsuite.com, http://postcron.com, etc). As KUKU.io is close to Buffer and Hootsuite technically and legally, we would be happy to make any unaccounted improvements to become Google+ Pages API Partner.

I can't find any official info about real criteria of becoming Google+ API partner. Could you please clarify?

How would I, or could I, extract and display the follower count number only, from my G+ page, styled in any way I desire, on my website?

Hi everybody,

We are planning to develop an application that may need to create a large number of (https://www.googleapis.com/oauth2/v3/tokeninfo?id_token=xxx) calls to do token validations beyond the usage. And I am looking for the number about the rate limit...

I've found something related https://developers.google.com/+/web/api/rest/#api but want to know the accurate number, can anyone provide the inforamtion (limit per token(user)/ limit per app)?

Note that you also can skip the API calls all together by verifying tokens offline. Sample apps are here: https://github.com/googleplus/ as gplus-verifytoken-<language>

Hi, is there any way to install Google+ comments (plugin) on websites other than Blogger?

I mean websites like ASP. net not only WordPress! There are options such Disqus, Facebook, or Livefyre... But why no G+?
