OCS-compatible Electron-based frontend.


## How to Install the OCS-Store

Download the package for your Linux Distro under the "Files" tab.

Install the package with your package manager of choice, which should pull in any dependecies.

Or manually install the package by using the terminal:

AppImage

$ chmod +x /path/to/ocsstore*.AppImage
$ /path/to/ocsstore*.AppImage --install

OCS-Store AppImage's "--install" is optional, but recommended the install to enable the app self-updating feature and desktop menu registration.
And you can uninstall the installed OCS-Store AppImage by "--uninstall" option.

$ ~/.local/bin/ocsstore.AppImage --uninstall

Ubuntu 16.04 or later

$ sudo apt install libgconf-2-4 libxss1 libqt5gui5 libqt5websockets5 libqt5dbus5
$ sudo dpkg -i /path/to/ocsstore*.deb

Fedora 20 and 21

# yum install GConf2 libXScrnSaver qt5-qtbase qt5-qtbase-gui qt5-qtwebsockets
# rpm -i /path/to/ocsstore*.rpm

Fedora 22 or later

# dnf install GConf2 libXScrnSaver qt5-qtbase qt5-qtbase-gui qt5-qtwebsockets
# rpm -i /path/to/ocsstore*.rpm

openSUSE 42.2 or later

# zypper install gconf2 libXss1 libQt5Gui5 libQt5WebSockets5 libQt5DBus5
# rpm -i /path/to/ocsstore*.rpm

Arch Linux

# pacman -S gconf libxss qt5-base qt5-websockets
# pacman -U /path/to/ocsstore*.pkg.tar.xz

The website doesn't load properly, links simply don't show and I have to reload several times for them to appear and when I click a link it simply doesn't open and shows 'internal error'.

Yes, OCS-Store has using a Qt program internally to manage files and functions of Linux desktop environment.

Nice - but when I download a file it downloads automatically to my Download folder and I always have to sort the downloaded files afterwards. Can you please add an option to always *ask* where to download to?

Love the idea. For me, however, the KDE Store does not seem to install icon packs to the correct location (.local/share/icons/). Downloads successfully, but does not show up in system settings.

Please try version 2.1.1, we fixed a file installation problem, and another thing, install packages like unzip for archives.

I am also experiencing this problem, but I am on version 2.1.1 and it is still an issue for me. Am I on the wrong version or has there not been a more permanent fix for this yet?
