There is no effective treatment and no vaccine available. Ebola is highly contagious so it is vital to prevent infection.
People are travelling more often and more widely than ever before, both for work and for pleasure. This means they are often faced with environments that they are unfamiliar with. Road safety isn't just about being a safer driver. Sometimes, the safest option is not to drive at all. If you don’t know the rules of the road, highway conditions, or local language, you may be better off arranging transportation with a trusted and vetted provider.
A forest is a challenging environment and it is important people know how to stay healthy and safe, so as an additional service I provide first aid courses, snakebite awareness and heat stress prevention training, among other initiatives.
School trips and expeditions are naturally risky because most are to developing countries. It was clear we required professional risk mitigation advice and a more sustainable system... these requirements led us to International SOS.
