"No child should ever die because of an overdose in our country." —Chelsea Clinton discussing our life-saving work on The View.
We're proud to be rated four stars by Charity Navigator for our impact, transparency, and the quality of our life-saving work around the world: http://wjcf.co/2bEcddM
"Working alongside so many passionate people around the world who share our goals and believe in our approach has made these 15 years one of the most rewarding chapters of my life, as I know it has been for Chelsea. While my role in that work will change, the work itself should continue because so many people are committed to it and so many more are relying on it."
The devastation caused by the recent flooding in Louisiana is enormous. It has left an estimated 40,000 homes damaged, 10,000 people in emergency shelters, and 13 lives have been lost—with thousands more affected now and in the future. We’ve got a lot of people that need help.
While federal, state and local governments are doing everything they can, there is still a lot more to do. If you would like to help, Governor John Bel Edwards has asked for donations to the Louisiana... Flood Relief Fund. It is administered by a local organization, the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, that will ensure that your donations go quickly and directly to nonprofits that are doing the most for people affected by the flood.
You can find information about the fund, and how you can help, here: http://www.braf.org/louisiana-flood-relief.
It’s important that we do what we can to help the people of Baton Rouge and the surrounding area build back their homes, businesses, schools, and churches. If you can help, either through the organization above, or through your own network, church, or charitable organization, please do so as soon as you can.
"She is the only candidate who can assess the data, consult with the people who need to be heard, and make decisions that she can logically defend." —WIRED on Hillary
"Somos una nación de inmigrantes... mi familia es de Irlanda y todas las familias son de muchas partes del mundo. Hemos sido un país de inmigrantes desde nuestr...o primer día... Desde los primeros días de nuestro país, hemos entendido que los nuevos estadounidenses... mantienen fresco al país, continúan desarrollando nuevas ideas, nos mantienen conectados con el mundo y la economía global"—Tim Kaine en Florida.
