A photographer and architect cross thresholds to photograph the intermediate spaces between the public and private domains, between the exterior and interior of International Style and Bauhaus buildings in Tel Aviv.

—The center’s shop includes a bookstore and a designers boutique. The bookstore focuses on Bauhaus history and legacy, the city of Tel Aviv, design and architecture. The boutique offers original Bauhaus items as well as contemporary Israeli design. Our center in also a publishing house, continuously putting in print books in the aforementioned fields. Docomomo International is a non-profit organization dedicated to the documentation and conservation of buildings, sites and neighborhoods of the Modern Movement.

Its aims are to:

• Bring the significance of the architecture of the Modern Movement to the attention of the public, authorities, professionals and the educational community.
• Identify and promote the surveying of the works of the Modern Movement.
• Promote the conservation and (re)use of buildings and sites of the Modern Movement.

It is with these goals in mind that the Bauhaus Center Tel Aviv agreed to cooperate with Docomomo International.
