    The people elected at a local level to represent communities will be cut out of the planning process around fracking of all things! Bypassing the planning process will be a disaster for communities, the environment & democracy

    Councils oppose any proposal for shale exploration to be allowed to “bypass the locally democratic planning system”, tells . It should be up to local communities to decide whether or not to host fracking operations in their areas.

    It is unbelievable that after the horror of that combustible materials still aren't banned for building high-rise. Schools, hospitals and homes are regulated- we desperately need a new regulatory framework for housing that puts the safety of our tenants first

    Looking forward to the launch of Brunswick in Bloom next week. Residents work hard every year to make our neighbourhood look amazing. Last year silver gilt, this year we're aiming for gold! I've been pushing to get the Floral Clock mechanism fixed in time for it.

    PLEASE could you tackle menace on council property by the church? We've spent £350k repairing the church with another £300k repairs planned this year. We're doing our best to improve neighbourhood for everyone, but the graffiti ruins it. 😥

    Interesting because at last full council Alan said Labour wouldn’t submit a bid to attract Channel 4. Much to opposition parties shock. Here is Alan clearly saying the city was “Unlikely to bid successfully” Was he wrong or is the Council press release?
