    It is estimated that around 1–2 million people died during the partition of British India. Apart from that, great comparison bro.

    India in 1947 had rather less difficulty gaining its independence than we are having in 2017 leaving the Brussels empire. Time for Boris to go the full Gandhi.

    Years ago, at a birthday party, with no notebook in my purse I was forced to write on napkins when inspiration struck. Now I always carry a notebook, but I've also been know to use my evernote app for random notes.

    I agree with every word of this brief thread!

    Apropos of nothing in particular, I keep seeing posts about "you MUST do this and it will improve your work" or "REAL writers do this, if you don't you're not a real writer." I have never seen a tweet like this that I agreed with.

    1/ Okay, you racist hack, apparently I have to do this every time. Like all conspiracy theories, this falls apart as soon as one asks "How?"

    I am hearing rumors that black voters from MS were encouraged to cross over into AL and vote. Anyone else hearing this? Anything to it? That might explain the 30% turnout higher than population percentage. Just reporting the rumor.
