‘Ukraine war: Boris Johnson says if Putin were a woman he would not have invaded’. Another example of ‘the same, but also magically better’, idiocy. As described in “The Madness of Crowds”.

To the extent that it’s possible to decipher anything from this mess, it seems that she thinks that if the climate changes aboriginal men will abuse more aboriginal women. Have I got that right?

Wonderful photos of a memorable day with Sir Tom Stoppard.

A few years ago @DouglasKMurray was very kind to invite me to photograph Tom Stoppard for @spectator magazine. These are some of the black and whites that have never been seen from that session. Some of my most cherished shots. A wonderful day. #nikon

Yea, right. Because these women look so unbelievably physically threatening don’t they? ‘Safety’, used like this, is the new ‘Shut up’. And dishonest people use it all the time to bully their way forward. Intimidating small businesses. All in the name of ‘progress’, natch. twitter.com/IndiaWilloughb

I love Murray's writing because it's always a gateway to more reading. I followed up that chapter with Nietzsche's writings on ressentiment and it was revelatory beyond words. I've listened to the book on tape 3 times now. I drive for a living so I can do that.
