    we as a society have this need to rank and rate everything... that is the challenge to overcome.

    Live block. Our academic math is blocked in all grade levels and our LARTS is blocked in 6th and 7th.

    a5: ALSO… wouldn’t block scheduling be amazing for allowing more time in class for purposeful feedback?!

    A5 I love sitting w/ a group informally so students are part of a discussion without really knowing we are all giving feedback

    put the emphasis on feedback;don't have convos about S grades;have convos about learning- what do u know, what do u need to learn

    Is flipped classroom 4 outside of class or reteaching inside of class. Can't get S to use outside of class.

    You should come visit r LARTS dept. We're doing it. Ss talk proficiency scales,not grades.Can't change district reporting, but in the class.

    a4: grades=feedback when feedback has supported the road to mastery. Wish we could nix common assessments to support true mastery
