During our Founding Fathers era people could be self-educated and their integrity and honor would suffer when they were incompetent. This man is obviously not experienced nor educated(self or otherwise) and during a lifetime appointment is too late for him to prove himself.

Those like Kennedy who dwell on regurgitation of knowledge are rarely wise people. You do not need knowledge of minutiae to make wise decisions. It is a skill totally separate from acquired knowledge. Our founding fathers knew this and knew the danger of the ‘not wise’ judging.
