It seems I have to upgrade Sublevel from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04 to gain support for HTTP/2. HTTP/2 doesn’t work because the current Nginx builds for 14.04 are compiled with OpenSSL 1.0.1 instead of 1.0.2. OpenSSL 1.0.1 doesn’t come with ALPN support. Browsers that can’t detect ALPN support don’t use HTTP/2.

When are you planning on upgrading? Do you think there will be any downtime?

I replaced Spotlight with Alfred then I replaced Alfred with Quicksilver. What I can say is that Quicksilver is the best. I can manage my entire workspace with it.

I used Quicksilver for years. These days it feels like unneeded overhead, nothing wrong with Spotlight for launching and switching apps and in-app keyboard shortcuts for other actions.

I like Duo for its simplicity. I hate Allo even if I won’t ever use it. I hope Google keeps releasing simple, single purpose apps like Photos and Spaces.

I’m working on blog engine written in PHP 5.2 because that’s the version my hosting provider supports. It reads and writes files to disk instead of using SQL. It has support for some inline Markdown syntax. I think I can even build a search engine for it by looking inside the files.

I thought you used Digital Ocean for hosting? I'd strongly advise you to move to different hosting provider. 5.2 isn't maintained anymore so any security holes that are found won't be patched.

Can we insert uppercase letters just by long pressing a key? It should work the same as we input accented letters. We don’t need a Shift key on a touch screen device.

Last year when I got the OnePlus X, I noticed that Android comes with the Clock app‘s alarms already set for weekdays at 8:30 AM and for weekends at 9:00 AM. I’m now using them on my iPhone and it’s a nice productivity boost. Previously I was using random alarms or none at all.

I thought you got rid of your iPhone SE. Did you end up going back to your 4S or get another one?

Who gets up at 8:30? My alarms are set for 6:30

Do you use Flattr? Would you want Flattr support on Sublevel?

I signed up ages ago but there wasn't a lot worth donating to. I'd sign up for Sublevel though!

What happened to that beautiful delicious.com design? Who took over? Why? It was an inspiration for me. Anyway, I will focus more on the design of Sublevel. You can see the first changes since yesterday.

The new segmented controls on profile / activity / explore look great!

Apparently, Pinboard isn’t opposed to taking over Delicious. And has been in talks with them. Now we can hope for Pinboard to win the YC funding and just straight-up buy Delicious! That would be one funny thing to witness.

You can use jamapi.xyz to turn Sublevel into an API using CSS selectors.

Sounds really useful but I just run into an Application Error when I try to open it :(

Happy birthday, @Sublevel! There has been 2 nice years and more will come.

Going to copy @tom's offer. If you're ever in Brighton, let me know! @eric might be there too so you won't get bored of me
