RSS Feed Maintenance

We will be doing maintenance on our site shortly that will affect RSS feeds. This feature will be disabled for all tracks until further notice. Please continue to check our Status Blog for updates.

We are still doing maintenance on our site that is affecting RSS feeds. Please bear with us while we restore this feature. We appreciate your continued patience.

Our essential maintenance work is still ongoing and RSS feeds are still temporarily disabled. We will be deploying a fix soon that will be a gradual rollout. This means you should see services return to normal within a 24 hour period.

After that time - the best thing you can do is refresh your feed with iTunes in order to make sure they’re pulling all the correct information.

What you’ll need to do is login with your account used to submit the podcast to iTunes’ Podcasts Connect portal they offer: http://podcastsconnect.apple.com/ and click your podcast to see details, then click “Refresh”. This triggers the iTunes Store to re-check your feed.

Fortunately our maintenance work has completed and all RSS feeds have been enabled again. This means everything should be up and running for you again. 

You shouldn’t need to refresh your feed in itunes but we’d suggest trying it if you are still having issues.

Play Count Issues

We’re looking into issues with play counts not updating underneath the waveforms of tracks. The counts are being successfully collected on the stats page so you can view your correct count in the meantime. More information here when we have it.

Facebook Sign-in Issues

Maintenance: Frozen Follow Counts

Hey everyone,

We are currently performing some essential maintenance work on our follows service. 

This will mean that follower and following counts on your account will be frozen at their current levels for potentially up to a week from today.

You’ll still be able to follow and be followed as normal but these won’t be reflected in the counts on your profile until the maintenance is complete.

This work should ensure that following on SoundCloud remains stable into the future.

We appreciate your patience on this.

At 11:00 CET / 02:00 PST as part of this maintenance, the followers service will be unavailable for a short period. This means that any follows made during this time will not be saved.

This planned outage should be over very quickly, but we’ll keep you up to date on it’s progress here.
