Pros: Great modules to extend the functionality of your own software in terms of PDF editing. The support is absolutely fast and reliably helps with integration questions. I have been a customer for years and very satisfied with the company.

Pros: This is the only PDF manipulation library we found that is able to consolidate multiple copies of the same embedded font, and it does so very quickly. In our application, we create many separate PDFs, each with embedded fonts, then we merge those into a final PDF. Using this library, we're able to reduce the final document by over 60% (in one test case, from 3.4MB to 1.2MB.)

Cons: The only negative is the licensing model. The library is broken up into a number of modules that are separately priced on a per-document basis. This means that you only pay for the features you need, but you need to do a good up-front analysis to avoid multiple trips back to the well to add modules you didn't know you needed at the start.

I prefer a per-developer "all features" license, but we were able to reach a fair agreement.

Overall: Excellent. The pre-sales engineering support was outstanding. They put together a proof-of-concept for us to test the compression, and we were able to integrate that into our application with very little effort. The team was easy to work with, and the post-sale customer support has been proactive.

Pros: We like the ease of use, features, ability to customize, and support provided with PSPDFKit. Overall, the product has worked very well for us.

Cons: We did not have any major issues with PSPDFKit. Anything we discovered, support was able to help us find a solution.

Overall: We used PSPDFKit for a custom application for one of our customers. they were very happy with the features of the product.

Pros: This product is extremely well supported, documented and works amazingly on just about every platform required. packed with well documented features and extremely high performance as compared to other players in the market. This product has transformed the way we deal with PDFs and made life in development way way easier.

Cons: There is absolutely nothing we didn't like. Seriously compared to other players and in terms of the level of support for price and capability, there is nothing we would change.

Overall: The best experience with a PDF SDK to date after 8+ years of evaluating and using many others. I would highly recommend using this product and evaluating the online demo. I'm certain when you compare to other commercial offerings you will see a vast difference in performance and feature capability, well beyond expectations. The product support is amazing, and everyone is super responsive.

Cons: License fees are not clear. We had to do quite a bit of work figuring out what components we needed to add on and pay for.

Overall: We are a very happy licensee and planning to further our utilization and reliance upon the product.

Pros: PSPDFKit performs phenomenally for pdf use cases. Rendering, editing, signing, redacting, and other functions are straightforward to implement. Everything is configurable and all api options are well documented. Being able to fully integrate on a trial with a watermark made it easy to develop a proof of concept.

Cons: License cost is not immediately straightforward or available for purchase. Although this means you can get a pricing plan that is tailored to your needs, its a lot more manual that I expected.

Overall: Working with PSPDFKit was been a great experience. The tech is great and the team is extremely responsive. I'm very happy with the features we've already shipped with this SDK. I'm even more excited about what new features PSPDFKit will enable for us.

Cons: There were absolutely no downsides to choosing the PSPDFKit SDK; it exceeded all our expectations.

Even when I was just in the demo stage of getting their product and testing it, their developers team was with me every step of the way to answer any questions and helped me actually come up with better uses. This alone is what swayed me to choose them as the SDK I was going to use.

- Support for React and NextJS could be taken a bit further with less hacks and guesses
- Uneasy for intermediate developers
- Server version deployment docs lack some details that require a good sysadmin / DevOps investigation to figure.
- A bit expensive but aligned with competition prices available on the market.

Overall: Working with PSPDFKit both on front-end, backend went smoothly without any major technical risks.
Can't wait for their cloud API to cover more features such as PDF to JSON.
Besides, working with their very patient and available pre-sales and support team was a real pleasure.

Overall: PSPDFKit has gone above and beyond to support our development team during our initial and subsequent projects. We evaluated several SDK partners and PSPDFKit has continued to be the most outstanding choice for us and our clients.

Pros: I liked how the SDK was well documented, so as a indie developer newbie it was fairly easy to understand how to implement pdf technology and features into my iOS app.

Cons: Because I'm using this SDK/technology for developing iOS apps, I would like to see more support for the SwiftUI framework. Currently, some of the more minute features that I needed only worked with UIKit and not SwiftUI.

Overall: PSPDFKit had great features too add to my note-taking app, and made my job implementing pdf and annotation functionality to my app significantly easier. The SwiftUI framework is well supported by the PSPDFKit SDK, but I'd like to see more features ported from UIKit to SwiftUI.

Pros: We have one framework for iOS, Android and web that provide the same feature across platform. This ease the integration and share knowledge amongst team.

Cons: Complex JS in PDF are sometime misinterpreted and slow.

Overall: We have been working with PSPDFKit since its inception for more than 10 years and we never change it. We were able to grow with them and find licence agreement that provides both party satisfaction. The support is also very efficient and quite fast. If the product does not provide a feature, there is always a workaround to make it work.
