I don't think I can reply to my own post with public comments off. I am getting too much spam for public comments to be off.
@mapkyca @benwerd Toggling off the avatar setting stopped the avatar being included in the Open Graph meta data.

You should check out Bridgy Fed once you get the basics flowing. For Twitter and WordPress I use Bridgy Publish. Only way to really keep tweets and webmentions threaded with any degree of success.
@edtechdev Inever heard of that syndication workflow. Cool. may even want to add it as aexample to POSSE page.
I use Mastodon Autoshare doesn't toot updates, doesn't recognize plain text editor, character count handy. Trying Known again for a bit.
