- SundayNorth Island, rain or showers for most, heavy at times, but only brief falls possible in the east. South Island, periods of rain, possibly heavy in the east for a time. Becoming mostly fine along the west coast.
- Chatham IslandsOn Friday, rain easing to a few showers in the morning. Northwest winds. Showers gradually clearing on Saturday and strong northwesterlies easing. On Sunday, rain developing as winds turn northerly.
