What makes our modules different?

No Coast
Our modules represent a more diverse window on the world of sound synthesis.
They embrace techniques as varied as physical modelling, wavetable synthesis, waveshaping or granular processing.
From the pioneering work of Serge, Moog and Buchla, we took the idea of voltage-controlled signal processing blocks… and kept it at that. You won’t find yet another replica of a Moog VCF or Buchla oscillator here.

Well-engineered
We have an excellent track record of releasing bug- and crash- free modules.
We do not rush product announcements. We allow ourselves months of testing before a release. When designing modules, we aim for accuracy, stability and “getting it right”.
This does not imply over-engineering. We are well aware of the limitations of the human ear and the Eurorack format, and will not make you pay for impressive technical specifications that are musically meaningless.

Open-source
There’s no secret about how our products are built and how they work.
We publish the source code, schematics, and hardware description files for all our products.
Maybe you do not care about the hardware hacks, alternative firmware, format adaptations or the DIY scene this inspires. Then take it as a guarantee of transparency: we do not have any dirty secrets to hide.
