Who is the transliterated "Us", that cannot spell itself in coherent terms in neither Hebrew nor Arabic? Who is standing with whom?

"Stand with Us" got their official road sign in Jerusalem (trilingual! pluralism etc). The funny thing is that the Hebrew (and the Arabic) are transliterated from the English, rather than meaningful names. סטנד ווית׳ אס ستاند ويد اس. Like you would do, perhaps, with global brands

Some on the Left think those who hang out with fascists and racists and antisemites are ok. They're not. A thread on Vanessa Beeley. Why her? She is liked by both Chris Williamson and George Galloway. Lets take a look! This thread on Urban75 shows us

Yes. But this was before the "betrayal". More worried about violence (against migrants, against politicians) than protests

Heading to some really nasty days here in the UK. The spectre of political violence is hovering in the air. A Labour MP was murdered before the referendum even took place. Brexit is about to be "betrayed" in one way or another, and I'm fearing the consequences.

I spent the Millennium in the Andaman islands. Neil island, to be exact. It was a strange experience. Most strange was the encounter with Indian settler-colonialism. That aggressive disorientation that is common in settler colonies, the uprooted "melting pot" of Port Blair

Strangely, the first response to this tweet (which deals with the personification of capital) is somehow about Israel

Do not be deceived: this is no Lexit ❌Lowers labour standards and curtails trade union rights ❌Weakens environmental protections ❌Imposes more stringent limits on state aid than EU membership Hard to see Labour MPs voting for it Me for

Odd. Clinton is proposing a strategy the European mainstream has been implementing for years. In policy terms it has been a success (immigration is a fraction of what it was). In political terms the results are mixed-to-poor. In humanitarian terms they are abysmal.

to think that the far-right blowback can be avoided is delusional. The only way to avoid it is a no-deal Brexit. Otherwise, prepare for "stab-in-the-back" narrative and the spectre of political violence. We'll all have to face the fascists one way or another

It's not the far right or left you should be worried about. It's the anger of the people who voted for brexit.
