There's a lesson in this graph--Credit Suisse, Bloomberg data on foreign inflows to GCC, Kuwait is the winner. Steady climb in 2 years of consolidation, ec reforms, foreign policy crises. Kuwait job pressures low, tiny pop, oil reliant, but capital rewards stable policy.

Except Kuwait is NOT in "dire economic conditions". Of all of the GCC states, Kuwait has: a fiscal surplus, low debt, lower central bank rates, lowest fiscal break-even oil price, highest ME net foreign investor inflows, + new infra spending, expected MSCI EM inclusion in '19.
