Trump signed an executive order yesterday in the hopes that people would move on:
There are still babies in cages
There are still 2500 kids who have been separated from their parents
There is no plan to fix any of this
Things are as bad today as they were yesterday.

This is all true but it's also f-ed up that newspapers are having to PAY FACEBOOK to distribute their content for free, while Facebook steals their advertising revenue and sells access to their readers

The real headline today should be that President of the United States has decided to do nothing to help 2300 children reunite with their parents
He took them away from their moms and dads and he’s not backing down at all

There are a few high profile Republicans on Twitter abandoning Trump but he has very strong support from Republicans overall. There is no Republican exodus. They like him. And he has the overwhelming support of Republicans in Congress.

2. Unless the law is changed, the Trump administration appears poised to resume separations in 20 days

1. The plan is to keep families detained indefinitely together, which is illegal
2. Trump would like the courts or Congress to make that not illegal
3. If Congress or the judiciary doesn't change the law, families will continue to be split up
