Two forums have been scheduled for the 9/4 primary to determine which 2 candidates will compete on 10/2. The 1st forum will be held at 5 pm Mon at The Mill and is hosted by Daniel Boscaljon. The League of Women Voters' forum will be held at City Hall from 7 to 8:30 pm Wed 8/29 .

A primary election will be held on Sep 4 to see which 2 of 5 candidates will compete on Oct 2 to fill the Iowa City council seat vacated by Kingsley Botchway. It's an admirable list of candidates: Ann Freerks, Ryan Hall, Christine Ralston, Bruce Teague, and Brianna Wills.
