Part of geology immersion was analyzing some of the Apollo lunar samples. Fascinated to learn over 80% of Apollo samples are yet to be disturbed. Amazing foresight in the 1970’s that tools would get better in future so samples should be preserved for future.

Scattered remnants of the Aral Sea in & , which used to be the 4th largest lake in the world. Diversion for agriculture has reduced the lake to 10% of its original size, resulting in desertification, economic collapse & public health issues.
