I think the fact that there will never be a time when our role as carers ends (until we die) makes parent carers like me feel resentful and lead to über black thoughts. But what happens after our death is the blood-chilling nightmare that’s rarely spoken about out loud. twitter.com/angelak1163574…

I've been a social worker for longer than I care to think. In all that time I have NEVER worked with a homeless person who has not desperately wanted off the street. Alcohol/drugs/physical and sexual abuse/mental illness all are factors, but it is our job to help them.

I think museums are SO boring. All we do is walk slowly, then stop. Walk slowly, and stop. Ugh. It’s so dull. My handler said she gets pretty photos like these, and that’s part of the fun. I don’t get it. But, we both pity those who think blind girls can’t do photography. pic.twitter.com/35TIJZAv9n

Sysadmin and IT folks would feel a lot safer administering Linux or Unix servers using BMC if we knew that the BMC's software is open source too. Open source software can be patched on time. I am testing openbmc from IBM. Stay tuned for more info on openbmc.
