Any MP that cannot accept the referendum result should resign. We should not have MPs who don’t believe in democracy.

	Replying to @DouglasCarswell Not bad although he seems to be of view that WA without the backstop is the solution. I used to agree but the WA has many other issues - defence/£39bn to name two. A new PM should ditch the deal and start afresh negotiating a FT deal. If EU don’t like it just leave on WTO terms.

	Replying to @MorrisseyHelena The point of the referendum was to determine which way a divided country should turn. Once that decision was made we should have turned and not tried to accommodate the losing side. They would have accepted if we did it quickly. Most people were not so extreme about leave/stay.

	Replying to @trussliz Having said that I agree with you- Brexit is the opportunity of a new generation to shake off the shackles of corporatism and bureaucracy and free the spirit of enterprise and innovation. Technology moves faster than governments so we need to be nimble not hampered by 27 others.

Cities bankrupt themselves over hosting and it never leaves a sports legacy in schools. The Royal Family engenders far more patriotism than McDonalds & Visa
