New from Trint transcripton: a “Vocab Builder” to add frequently-mangled words and phrases to your own custom dictionary. I have added:
It was always amusing to see what the transcription did with these, but I hope I’m done fixing them every time.
Lady Bird is the 99 cent rental film on iTunes right now. I loved this film! 🎬 PS. 99rental.com is a great one to add to your RSS reader.
I saw Solo. It’s been awhile since I went on opening night. I also saw trailers for 3 films that kinda blended together into one generic summer blockbuster action film: Skyscraper, Mission Impossible, and I can’t even remember the third one. 🤷♀️
The new @theweeklyreview is up! James and I put some popular productivity metaphors through the wringer, as we try to figure out the best ways to getting back on track when life derails our best laid plans. Episode 5: A Container of Pebbles
“I know how you can get bogged down with emails so I wanted to follow up on my previous message and bring this email back to the top of your inbox :)”
Random Marketing Person threatening, this is what @SaneBox’s Black Hole was invented for. :) sanebox.com/t/ml4ff
Niecelet is back home for the summer.

Everyone is welcome. Bring your own lunch. We’ll decide the exact time and location on June 3rd, when we are there to scope out the options. It will be close to the convention center and the time will coincide with the WWDC lunch break.
My second walk with Lola. Last one was in the cold rain of March. Today is gorgeous. Such a sweetheart. #rover

I had a great chat with Mike Haynes, @mikedotfm for the Micro Monday Microcast. He created @dialog, the Android app for Micro.blog. Another fun interview with yet another cool person using Micro.blog! 🎙
Are you doing a microcast? I’m creating a directory. Fill out this short form and I’ll add your listing! 🎙
I posted an email interview I conducted with @hartlco, Martin Hartl, on @monday. I asked him about his Micro.blog app Icro and how he got started in app development. And of course, I had to ask him about pets!
Oh, this is new, from the transcription service: “Trint now offers ‘English – All Accents.’ Try it on files with multiple English accents and for any English accent outside UK, North American and Australian.” How convenient I can use it now for the interviews w/Jess and Serena!
I have gotten behind on Micro @monday transcripts. I’m sorry, everyone who is waiting to read the interviews with @herself and @Vishae.
I am working on a special double-header edition of Micro @monday for tomorrow!
I really wanted to go to Royal Wedding…in 1973. I even wrote a letter to Buckingham Palace to ask for an invite.

If you are in the Chicago area July 21-22, come to Macstock! I’ll be there speaking about microblogging, and a lot of my favorite Mac people (like @verso) will be speaking too.
(I have a discount code you can use for $70 off: MACGENIE.)
I have great guests coming up for the next Micro Mondays! (And I’ve already had 10 great guests, of course!)
If you haven’t subscribed, go to monday.micro.blog where there is a Subscribe page with links to Apple Podcasts, Overcast, and Castro.
Rating the fortune cookie fortunes I’ve been collecting. “A goal is a dream with a deadline” was the first one I saved, during initial @appcamp4girls planning!

Decided to review my fortune cookie fortune collection as part of a decluttering sprint. One will be coming down. (Thank goodness I learned that executive ability is not my forte!)

Welcome to Micro.blog to my pal @kerri9494. That makes three librarians here (that I know of) including @kimberlyhirsh and @cygnoir. Librarians are my superheroes, and it makes me happy to see you here, Kerri!
