FASHION x ART
Ello has teamed with noted ad-free, fine art and slow fashion photography magazine - SPOON Magazine for an ongoing online/offline SPOON x Ello collab to help discover and feature emerging leading-edge creators at the nexus of fashion and art.
The SPOON x Ello Fashion x Art competition will publish nine artists in a special section of SPOON | 5, feature their work as part of an online exhibition, a year of SPOON Magazine and a #SummerofElloLove collector t-shirt. Three of those artists will be awarded $1,000 Fashion x Art grants to further pursue their work and ideas, and one of those three will win a trip to Paris during Fashion Week for a special SPOON x Ello event showing her or his work alongside other SPOON | 5 contributors.
The competition is open to all designers, illustrators, artists, photographers - Creators - with an Ello account.
HOW TO ENTER
Post three original images (photos, illustrations, designs, paintings, sculptures, installations, GIFs, etc.) on your Ello account that best exemplify Fashion x Art.
Post all three images as one post and tag @spoonxello.
Include your name and a link to your website or portfolio in the post.
DATES
July 5 to July 24 midnight MST.
PROCESS
Ello curators will repost all complete entries on the @spoonxello account. SPOON editors and publishers, Patrice Fuma-Courtis and Karine Chane Yin, Ello Chief Product Officer, Lucian Föhr and iconic fashion photographer and artist, Steve Hiett, will select the winners. Ello staff will contact winners.
PRIZES
9 people will be selected to appear in a special section of SPOON | 5 and the second edition of the
SPOON x Ello journal, get a year subscription to SPOON and a #SummerofElloLove t-shirt.
3 of those people will be awarded a $1,000 art grant to further pursue their work and ideas.
1 of those three will win a trip to Paris during Fashion Week and have her or his work shown at a special
SPOON x Ello event.
