    Just finished testifying on my 1st bill this session: HB 432, Creation of the MD Violence Intervention & Prevention Program. Awesome array of advocates from B'more and around the state. Wd fund evidence-based public health gun violence programs.

    Getting an organ to a hospital on time can be a matter of life and death. HB106 Allows emergency vehicles to use lights/sirens to ensure the speedy transportation of organs and save lives.

    HB96 provides up to a $7500 tax credit for a liver, kidney, pancreas, intestine, lung or bone marrow donor. 18 states have similar legislation. Living donors are heroes

    Today I’ll be in committee testifying in support of two bills that focus on organ donation. HB96: A tax credit, to encourage folks to become living donors & HB106: Which allows emergency vehicles transporting organs to use lights and sirens.
