    It's amazingly difficult to find solid, knowledgeable and insightful reporting on Gaza in the English language media. Too many reporters with fluent Arabic have left the region or quit journalism. Israeli journalists cannot enter Gaza and Palestinians cannot get out.

    Why, yes! Absolutely the reaction to a sharp spike in measles should be to overturn the law mandating vaccinations for schoolchildren.

    Under its new ruling party, the Italian Senate votes to remove vaccination requirements for schoolchildren. Italy had 5,000 cases of measles last year, up from 870 in 2016. Wow. Just wow. via
