Joyce Hill Stoner
From Whistler to Wyeth, Joyce Hill Stoner has treated works by some of the most important artists in modern history. She is an award-winning, highly decorated art historian and practicing paintings conservator, with national honors and appointments to federal committees to her name.
But Stoner is best known for her passion and commitment to the preservation and restoration of vital pieces of art, and she has taught graduate students in painting conservation who have gone on to leading positions in prestigious museums such as the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Rijksmuseum.
