PALS staff have been working on upgrading the underlying software for MnPALS Plus and PALSdiscover. We are upgrading the underlying Vufind software from version 2.4 to 3.1. Most changes are in background processes, there should be few if any front end/public facing changes.
We do ask that you test this software to make sure things are working for your staff and patrons as expected. Answer 3983 in the PALS Support Center links to your current production server (prod), your current Vufind 2.4-based server (dev) and your new Vufind 3.1 development server (dev3).
Barring any major issues being discovered in testing over the next couple of months, our plan will be to move the production servers to the Vufind 3.1 base code sometime over the Holiday break (late December or early January). Watch for more information on the move to be released by the end of Fall Semester.
