Rehabilitation, Research, and Education at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center on Jekyll Island
Through sea turtle rehabilitation, research and education programs, the Georgia Sea Turtle Center will increase awareness of habitat and wildlife conservation challenges, promote responsibility for ecosystem health and empower individuals to act locally, regionally, and globally to protect the environment.

Admission:
Proceeds help to offset operational costs, including the rehabilitation of our patients.
- $7 for adults (13+ years)
- $6 for Seniors (62+ years)
- $5 for children (4-12 years)
- FREE for children 3 and under.
Prices include tax Visitors under 16 yrs old must be accompanied by someone 18 years or older.
In accordance with State Health Department regulations, all swimsuits must be covered. Shoes and shirts must be worn at all times.

Directions:
Jekyll Island is convenient to I-95, take Exit 29 and follow the signs east on U.S. 17 for approximately 10 miles. Turn right onto the Downing Musgrove Causeway (GA 520). Pass through the Jekyll Island Guest Information Center and Plaza (a $6 Daily Parking Fee required), and proceed over the Jekyll Island Bridge. Take the first left to go toward the Jekyll Island Historic Landmark District (follow the painted sea turtles on the roadway). At the stop sign, turn right onto Stable Road. The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is located on Hopkins Rd on the left in the former Power Plant building.

The Center is open to the general public and offers an interactive Exhibit Gallery and Rehabilitation Pavilion with a number of view-able sea turtle patients.The Georgia Sea Turtle Center is a hospital for ill and injured sea turtles. We are the only hospital of its kind in the state of Georgia.
