Netflix already gives users insight into their internet connection through its monthly ISP Speed Index ratings and allows them to adjust video quality to save mobile data. Now the company appears to be readying itself to launch a speedtest-like app called Fast, which might help users further analyze their internet connection. Trademark filings for the Fast logo say the online service and app will come as either a download or as part of Netflix's website for "testing and analyzing the speed of a user's internet connection."
