A Place To Guess The Subject For All Charts
Submitting and Comment Rules
Rule 1: If you find an image somewhere on the internet and you want to post it here, then you should not link directly to the original source of the image. Instead, download the image, and drag and drop it into the image box while posting.
Rule 2: Submissions need to be charts that exclude the legend. Such charts could be Google Trends, Google NGrams, or Maps.
Rule 3: Original Content is highly encouraged.
Rule 4: Submissions should try to give a hint about the color grading (if there is one) of the legend, the subject, and should give the solution, with a spoiler tag, in the comment section.
Rule 5: If the OP has not responded to an answer when the answer is 16 hours old, the post may be flaired as "OP Not Responding". After 48 hours, the post may be removed.
Rule 6: When commenting with an answer, hint or question, use a spoiler tag:
What you type:
[Your hint goes here](#h)
[Your answer goes here](#a)
[Your question goes here](#q)
The result:
Your hint goes here
Your answer goes here
Your question goes here
Rule 7: Reposting is permitted as long as you do not say that it is a repost until it has been answered. If you choose to repost an image then it is recommended that you use an image editing tool such as Paint.net or GIMP to adjust the saturation, hue and/or lightness of the colors to make it more difficult for users to find the original post.
Rule 8: Avoid posting maps that were recent popular posts on Reddit.
Rule 9: Avoid posting "personal" maps that are specific to the OP or another person who most people wouldn't know about.
Rule 10: You should post maps where the answer is likely the simplest possible answer that fits the data; in other words, the amount of entropy in the answer should be no greater than the amount of entropy in the map or data itself.
Rule 11: If you find the answer to a post using reverse image search (or a similar procedure), do not comment. Also, avoid commenting if you saw the image that was posted before in context.
General Rules
Rule 12: No racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise bigoted language here.
Rule 13: Don't reveal the answer without a spoiler tag.
