Amazing work Paul, reminded me technically of 'God View' - love how the perspective really gets inside the protagonist's mindspace
Paul Trillo PRO
Yeah that's such a great short. That was also a technique I wanted to explore but that film did it so well it's useless. :)

What a wonderful piece, I really like the constant chatter of his mind and the fact that it he "fears nothing" but worries about everything.

I really don't know what to think of this. I was quite confused to be honest with you. I'm in the process of procrastinating right now and it feels really good to say that publicly, well I guess this public, well open to the public at least. Well the people in public who have access to Vimeo. Anyways, I don't know what I'm saying. But I enjoyed the point of view concept, but not sure what to think about the themes.

One of the best shorts I've seen this year, the style they chose to shoot fits the script perfectly, and as a whole I think it makes for a great conversation about what being human means. Also have to say great job on camera and grading.

I'm just amazed over how people just see what ever is fed to them and they just applaud like a fucking bunch of monkeys (no offense Cheetah) without no discerning knowledge about things that happen outside their faceblog circle!! This might be (ok it is) a good short film...but it's not a new creative take on shooting a film. And as far as I've seen the filmmaker has not been promoting this a as a thing of genius, he has however, not stopped everyone else from proclaiming him a innovator...
And for all of you who could bother to read as far as this. Gaspar Noé Enter the Void 2009!!! Again, and I know, this is ancient history for many of you...2009!! Check it out.
Cheers

Nobody has mentioned the edit. The edit is really fun.
Peter West Plus
yes, the edit is very nice. I love the shot with the squirrel beyond the fence, great screwed up little moments. Must have been fun to shoot. I wish the conversation with the silent man had gone somewhere, and I wish it had been earlier in the movie. So it frustrated me. I have a feeling that means you succeeded in your objective. So, yes, congrats. You kicked ass. (and I loved the focused time travel moment. Perfect timing there!)
