Customer Reviews

You've taken our home away.

If I could rate this zero stars I would. You've taken away what Vine really is and you have the nerve to think people will still use this camera app? You don't understand that Vine was a place for us to share our creativity with the world and now you've taken that away from us without even considering how it impacted us. And even though so many of us tried to somehow tell and express how we felt about this, it's like you didn't even care about what we thought. I say this because on one of your official Vine posts you were deleting comments that said stuff like save Vine and such, and that right there just shows you don't care what we think. I made such great memories through Vine and met so many amazing people I'm grateful to have in my life. I enjoyed making edits for people to see and for my own hobby, which this was were I even started video editing in the first place. But now all of that's gone, and now I have to gain everything I had on Vine back which took almost two years to do. I know it's too late now, but I hope you think about what you've done to such an amazing app.

Are you kidding me!?

I'm basing this review off of the first article I read which talks about the asinine decision to shut Vine down.

First off, with Instagram's new short video sharing feature, why did you guys feel threatened by it? It doesn't even sort of compare to Vine. This so called 'competition' Instagram supposedly introduced is nothing more than you guys having anxiety issues over the future. When it comes to the kind of social media Vine introduced, you guys had nothing to worry about. But you couldn't take it.

Secondly, Twitter may have always had financial issues. But what do you guys stand to gain by completely removing a worldwide favorite medium of social media!? The least you could have done was ask Google, Facebook, heck, even Microsoft to buy it from you! Not only have you guys ticked off the world, but you shortened your list of options when it comes to improving your financial status. Heck, you could have made the app 2 bucks instead of free and the amount of hate you would have received would be infinitely less than what you are currently being bombarded with.

You guys really messed up. There may still be some hope for you if you make the right choices but as of right now, you are in a very deep hole. Hopefully Google follows your example and shuts down Google+! Oh wait... No one cares about G+

BRING VINE BACK

you have taken it away.
we spent money and countless hours on this app and now you want to change it to a stupid camera?
for what? money?
you make enough money on twitter.
you make more money than probably my whole family, and your gonna destroy the lives, the creativity just for more?
thats pathetic.
we built a home, you brought the vine app to us and we made a community.
guess what.
you just RIPPED the community apart.
you have divided us into multiple platforms now.
i tell ya one thing.
we wont be using this new "app" vine camera.
i didn't even update because i would rather have vine that doesn't work anymore,
then have the vine camera.

you say you were listening to what was important to us?
NO YOU WERE NOT.
if you were vine would still be running.
you just listened to your little money fueled brains.

there are way better companies out there than you.

and one day, i hope they create an app just like vine.
because when that day comes, you will know you made a huge mistake.
because there profits will shoot to the sky.

and see.
your ratings for the vine canera were so terrible that you had to delete them all and start fresh?

THAT WONT STOP THE VINE COMMUNITY FROM COMING BACK ON HERE AND RATING 1 STAR AGAIN.

just give us vine back.
