Randeep Ramesh is chief leader writer for the Guardian. He has been an investigations reporter, a foreign correspondent, social affairs editor as well editing the City pages and working on the home news desk. Randeep edited the Guardian's instant history of the Iraq War, called The War We Could Not Stop, and won Scoop of the Year and What the Papers Say Investigation of the Year for work on parliamentary lobbying scandals.
