Please use direct links to the GIF.
No GIFs made from pornographic, gory or NSFL GIFs.
No GIFs with only text added.
No GIFs of videos (with special effects), the GIF itself needs to have something extra, or be edited in some way.
No racism, sexism, homophobia or otherwise hateful language. Please report offending comments.
Be mindful of the reddiquette and reddit rules.
All link submissions must be direct links ending in .jpg, .png, .gif, gifv, etc. Gfycats are OK.
The following types of GIFs have their own subreddit and should be submitted there instead:
*Combined GIFs are accepted as long as they have something extra to it. For example: 1, 2.
**Perfect loop GIFs are accepted as long as they have something extra to it.
Made some OC?
Did you make some Original Content for /r/gifextra? Include "[OC]" in your title, your post will automatically be assigned an OC flair.
If you frequently submit gifextras to this subreddit, we will grant you an "Approved Submitter" flair as a token of appreciation for your activity. You don't have to specifically make OC to get a flair.
