After a very long time, IMDbPY 5.1 is here!
In this release: may fixes to stay aligned with the IMDb web site. As always, IMDbPY is looking for developers; if you want to contribute, contact us. Changelog for the 5.1 version.
IMDbPY is a Python package useful to retrieve and manage the data of the IMDb movie database about movies, people, characters and companies.
- Written in pure Python (and few C lines).
- Platform-independent.
- Can retrieve data from both the IMDb's web server and a local copy of the whole database.
- Released under the terms of the GPL 2 license.
- A simple API.
- IMDbPY is used by many other projects. Curious about that?
