Yeah, the trailer for that looks decent, but I enjoyed the idea that Crytek was going to set a bunch of different games in a world where there were incidentally dinosaurs.

Oh, just to add a couple more details:

• The total game isn’t four hours long, even if you just play each climb once, unless you’re insanely good. There are six bouldering courses that are shorter but take a lot of figuring out. I’ve done in the range of seven hours and I’m planning to go back to it if I get some free time.

• Scott Hayden over at Road to VR mentioned neck pain, which was sort of both better and worse for me. He mentioned playing it sitting down, which I think is a terrible idea that will lead to a lot of awkward stretching. It definitely made my neck sore, but so does almost every remotely physical VR experience, because I hurt something at CES and now have the equivalent of a VR RSI.

Oh, and I imagine a decent number of these (Pluto and Pearl at the very least) will be free, but I have no clue about stuff like Allumette.

Sens will be coming to Gear VR, I believe; the Grateful Dead video’s probably going to be on Jaunt’s app; and Into Darkness should also be coming at some point. It seems reasonable that Killer Deal would come to Gear VR too, but I don’t know specifically what’s going on with it.

Otherwise, Pluto’s Frigid Heart will be on NYT VR for Cardboard relatively soon, and Spotlight Stories stuff generally goes up on YouTube, so you can probably do Pearl with Cardboard on Android.

Just to cover the rest, Old Friend is gonna be on Wevr’s Transport app for Vive at some point; the game Dragonflight’s based on is on Steam under Early Access; and I’m not sure about Playthings, but it’s pretty Vive-specific at the very least. Allumette’s going to be on PSVR/Vive/Rift as far as I know, but I don’t have an exact date.
