Post-docs and Sabbaticals

On a limited basis, Facebook accepts applications and proposals for Postdoctoral Researchers and Faculty Sabbaticals. Post-docs and Faculty on sabbatical are expected to join research teams and make substantial contribution to ongoing projects. Individuals in these roles are expected to be recognized experts in identified research areas such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, computational statistics, and applied mathematics, particularly including areas such as deep learning, graphical models, reinforcement learning, computer perception, natural language processing and data representation. Ideal candidates will have a keen interest in producing new science to understand intelligence and technology. Term length is considered on a case-by-case basis. Currently, these positions are invite-only and require sponsorship from a Facebook research team.
