Purpose

Post Status Club Members tend to be the type of folks that attend WordPress conferences, but spend most of their time in the hallway track. The goal for Post Status Publish is to bring the hallway track to the main stage.

We’ll have conversations that don’t usually get the chance to be on the main stage. We’ll break out of the standard format. Some sessions will be short website or code demos. Others will be in-depth technical or marketing breakdowns. We’ll have long “off the record” panels, and step-by-step business execution discussions. The sky is the limit.

If you are all too accustomed to typical conference talks and want to go deeper, higher, farther – all in a collaborative and friendly environment, Post Status Publish is for you.

What you need to know

Date: December 1st, 2016 (The day before WCUS starts)

Main Event Time: 10am – 4pm with reception from 4pm – 6pm

Reception Only: 4pm – 6pm (separate ticket available)

Location: The Hub at Commerce Square in Philadelphia, PA

People: Our venue has limited space, and tickets for the main event may go quickly. We’ll have a bit more space for the follow-on reception. This event is for members only, and is a paid event.

Space: We have two rooms for conversations, demos, and talks; and a breakout space for people that seek to collaborate in small groups.

Publish is an opportunity to take part in a conference geared toward WordPress professionals, without having to commit to travel and hotel just for that conference. If you’re already attending WordCamp US, and you make a living with WordPress, then Publish is a no-brainer. No extra flight. Only one extra hotel night, and your ticket. That’s it. I can’t wait to see you there.
