I will not be a spectator, viewer or supporter of the today in protest of the ’s racist treatment of and its ongoing disregard for the health + well-being of all its players. To watch the game is to compromise my beliefs. It’s not worth it.

Just go ahead and put the "Sold!" sign on the Senate building. Forget the old model of taking over a government. Just write a check.

I've not been able to sleep after reading this. What kind of human beings would confine & shackle a woman pleading for her life while dying from sepsis? What kind of society would permit guards to escape all responsibility for her suffering and death? Lamekia Dockery

So horrified that this happened to Jussie. Terror shaped the world that our elders knew--when anything could happen at any minute to any of us b/c of who we are. Now we know it too. To boot, some can only see race or sexuality in expressing their outrage. Can't we see it all?

I met a local elderly lady while walking & I usually nod hello but today she slowed up so I stopped to have a wee chat with her. When I said goodbye she said, "Thank you for stopping to talk to me as I haven't spoken to anyone in days." We need to talk to the elderly more.
