On this day in American history...the most extensive plot to kill senior US government officials and prominent Americans in history took place. It targeted two former presidents, their families, a former Secretary of State, a former head of the CIA, senior members of Congress...

It is sort of senility on my part in that I was using both the mobile version and the app - the mobile version is giving me a ton of new features and consequently bamboozling me

Ok - how, on the new Twitter app do you add an account (as it has blitzed all my aliases)?

The new Twitter app interface is a mess. Either that or old age has prematurely crept up on me

I know! Good work, we were discussing it @TowCenter just the other day - a lot of our research looks at exactly those ties and both monetary and soft influence. It is a real challenge

In other words you can celebrate gdpr as a victory for data protection and consumer rights, but it isn’t an anti-trust mechanism.

Oh I think it is for the best. But the consequence is to create a type of barrier to entry which helps consolidate the position of large incumbents. Not least because no one is going to build an effective competitor WITHOUT data collection and tracking. Compliance favors the large

Apple's Tim Cook makes blistering attack on the "data industrial complex" - predictable positioning from Apple in Europe, but interesting to think who global gdpr benefits. Smaller players for instance strained by amount of compliance, apple.news/AwgB6wvu8SICRT…
