100's came last Thurs and heard powerful testimony of lives derailed by inability to buy their freedom. NYS Sen Velmanette Montgomery spoke: "bail reform is our number one priority". NYS Sen Jesse Hamilton stopped by and pledged to push for progressive bail reform.

The Governor’s bail reform proposal allows District Attorneys unfettered discretion to incarcerate someone for five days at first appearance. That’s unacceptable.
